This monograph by Hashimoto and Lever is a collection of personal electron micrographic studies published in 179 pages with 75 figures. As with most early studies, the work can hardly be considered complete; but it can hardly be faulted for this since collecting rare tumors for study takes patience, planning, and diligence. A great deal of specialized material is covered with various degrees of completeness apparently according to the material available. Malignant tumors receive only 4 pages of consideration, and so this work could readily be entitled "Benign Appendage Tumors of the Skin."
A commendable feature is the inclusion of
