To the editor: In a review article appearing in the February 1966 issue of the ANNALS, a preliminary report was given of a patient (J.G.H. #379056) with female phenotype and a chromosome karyotype of 45,X/46,XY (1). The patient had not had a laparotomy, and the gonadal sex was unknown. We were unable to locate her for further evaluation until just recently but have now had the opportunity for additional study. Since such follow-up reports are at times neglected, we are submitting this additional information, especially in view of the rarity of such cases in the literature (less than 20 cases
