This is the type of book I like. The information is well categorized and concisely presented. No text should be expected to be closer to the current literature discussion than 3 years (possibly 2), and in this instance the authors must have taken exceptional care since there has been little change in the material they have presented. Some specific exceptions, I feel, should be stated.
In the initial chapter, "Approach to Diagnosis of Neuromuscular Disorders," the format is excellent and gives a number of subtleties experienced examiners recognize as useful in history taking and examination. There is disagreement on the
