To the editor: As the new Editor (formerly the Associate Editor) takes over, your readers look for clues to indicate what trends the ANNALS will follow. What are we to make of the "gram Positive" editorial in the May issue? Was the editorial play on the words penogram, renogram, penohemogram, and penohemorheoradiogram what it seemed, a display of semasiology, or was it provoked by an upsurge of phallicism? Will the ANNALS join with Masters and Johnson in counteracting prudery? Does the new Editor believe with them that "the penis constantly has been viewed but rarely seen. . . . Our
