With the increasing attention that medical genetics is receiving from the publishing houses, it is a pleasant surprise to find a clinically oriented text with a novel approach to human genetic disorders. Richard Goodman, as editor, has arranged the book by organ systems and has chosen clinical specialists to summarize the genetic disorders affecting their specific area of interest. This approach has led to an attractive and comprehensive review of the major genetic disorders of man.
