Genetic disorders account for much of the morbidity and mortality in our society, and Dr. Levine has summarized thoroughly that group with associated chromosomal aberrations. He is to be commended for the bibliography of more than 1,600 references and the organization of his material and its interpretation. His objectives of introducing clinical cytogenetics to the medical student and clinician and of providing a background for them to keep abreast of this rapidly developing field are realized.
