We have no doubt that the authors of this excellent and concise atlas could have produced a thicker and more unwieldy book by including many rare and complex diseases, by increasing the number of X rays, and by expanding on the brief disease descriptions. As it stands, they have produced a useful, pertinent, well-organized, economical, and readable text. This book will be useful to medical students, to general physicians, and to pediatricians and radiologists, although its brevity limits its usefulness for those working in the specific area of pediatric pulmonary radiology.
