The second edition of this book nearly approximates the first volume—so closely in fact that only five new photographs have been added and the text must be scrutinized for alterations. These would not seem sufficient to warrant a second edition.
The book is divided into four sections: common skin diseases; new growths—benign; new growths—potentially malignant, premalignant, and malignant; and formulary. The first three sections are arranged in alphabetical order without any attempt at disease classification.
Dr. Behrman has gathered an admirable collection of color photographs of common skin diseases, and for most conditions there are several photographs providing a mini-spectrum
