There is an urgent need for an updated review of methods and instrumentation that have been developed for the greatly expanded and increasingly sophisticated radiological delineation of the vascular system. This small book, despite its title, does not begin to serve this need.
Less than twenty pages are devoted to the complex problems of room design, major equipment, methods of vessel puncture and catheterization, choice of contrast medium, and complications of angiography. Even the section on diagnostic criteria for evaluation of tumors and ischemia is sketchy. The remainder of the volume outlines cursorily the method the authors have used for
