As a neurologist with a special interest in neuropathology, I am happy about the publication of this volume, whose preface, contents, introduction, and descriptive legends are presented in English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, and Japanese. Dr. Zülch's classification of nervous tumors is presented, and implications for prognosis are tabulated. There follows a series of high-quality photomicrographs of the common and less frequently encountered tumors arising in the brain and meninges (and, despite the title, a number of others, including those of intra- and para-sellar origin, intraocular tumors, glomus tumors, peripheral nerve tumors, and such diverse types of tumors as the
