Metrication problems in medical education are not discussed; the focus is almost exclusively on elementary, secondary, and college education.
The British, because of their commitment to metrication, have published some of the most specific and comprehensive literature in English dealing with medical metrication. A 1967 paper in Nature provides a concise but general summary of SI metric units and principles and of the role of British scientific journals in promoting metrication:
