This new fascicle in the Atlas of Tumor Pathology is attractive, clearly illustrated, and a delight to read. In the past this subject always presented real difficulties for the student, but now it can be said that the clinical investigation conducted by interested pathologists has clarified a once confusing subject. The classification offered by the authors is excellent, and, until some new method of studying tumors of bone and cartilage is offered, it should stand as an accepted method of classifying these tumors. The authors have presented statistics on prevalence and have leaned on the data of Dahlin and Ackerman.
