A plethora of blood coagulation manuals have been published recently, but relatively few have provided an up-to-date selection of tests to evaluate the disorders of hemostasis. This paperback appears to be one of the most successfull in filling the need for a clearly written, concise, practical, and inexpensive book. The introductory chapter reviews the mechanisms of hemostasis, blood coagulation, and fibrinolysis, but is too brief and sketchy to be of use to anyone not already thoroughly aware of this field.
