Rapid advances in allergy and immunology have created a demand for printed material that will provide information on new methods, approaches, and recent results in research. Over the past several years, publishing firms have printed the proceedings of a number of conferences on allergy and immunology. Despite the advantage of rapid publication that this method may have, there are a number of distinct disadvantages.
