To the editor: Moore and associates presented in the July issue (77:1-9, 1972) a progress report on their experience with total-lymphoid irradiation (TNR) alone compared to TNR plus combination chemotherapy with nitrogen mustard, vincristine sulfate, procarbazine hydrochloride, and prednisone (MOPP). In the last paragraph they stated that it is premature to recommend TNR plus MOPP. The thrust of the summary, tables, and discussion, however, relate to the high level of significance of fewer relapses and increased duration of disease-free survival in the TNR plus MOPP group.
