Physicians and students involved in cardiovascular diseases inevitably come to grips with electrophysiology of the heart. There are many excellent books on electrophysiology, but relatively few are devoted exclusively to arrhythmias. This book is a welcome addition to that field. Those who are familiar with the author's massive reference work on arrhythmias (Clinical Disorders of the Heartbeat) will undoubtedly find the new text to be basically an abbreviated version.
