During the past ten years there has been an expanded interest in lymphatics, manifested by the publication of texts and proceedings of conferences and congresses in which both revised and new information on all aspects of the lymphatic system have been presented. It is disappointing, therefore, that Donini and Battezzati missed the opportunity to present an up-to-date compendium in their book, which contains well-chosen topics correlated with clinical applications and which is of excellent technical quality.
