Doctors Clarke and Dewhurst have prepared a splendid illustrated text on the history of cerebral localization but have not actually written a book illustrating the history of overall brain function. This book, in some ways, is merely an amplification of Chapter 9, "Brain Localization," in Clarke and O'Malley's book, The Human Brain and Spinal Cord (1968).
