To the editor: With reference to the useful article by Gaeke and Gaeke on filing medical literature (Ann Intern Med 78:985-987, 1973), I suggest that students also equip themselves with a pair of blunt-nosed moustache scissors. I have found this to be the best instrument for selectively clipping journal articles with the least trauma to adjacent pages.
