Morphology, like Latin, is often considered a "dead language," despite the fact that clinical hematologists still revere it as the cornerstone of diagnosis. Dr. Erik Undritz has gone to an extraordinary length to defy this notion by bringing much new material into this expanded second edition. In comparison with the first edition, a popular paperback, this hard cover has an expanded text and twice the number of illustrations; yet, it has been kept to less than an inch thick by the use of a small type and relatively small plates.
