This is a "how to" book by the directors of the clinical laboratories of the John Wesley Hospital in Los Angeles. The first of its 12 chapters is an excellent summary (as of mid-1973) of clinical and laboratory information on viral hepatitis and hepatitis B antigen (HB Ag). The second chapter is devoted to safety precautions in the collection, handling, and processing of biological materials for HB-Ag testing.
