Clark's primer is heavy on elementary neuroanatomy and relation of structure to clinical interpretation, light on neurophysiology, especially that pertinent to interpretation of disorders of peripheral nerve and the neuromuscular system.
Although Barr's book is twice as expensive, it is much more adequately comprehensive, both in scope and detail, as an introductory text; its title does not imply more than it offers.
