Bladder cancer is not a topic of interest to the average internist, and this compilation of eleven chapters by eight authors will do little to enhance this interest. Because of the price of this book and the nature of its contents, it is best suited to use as a reference source in a medical library or possession by those physicians heavily involved in the subject. The chapters are, for the most part, review monographs of the known biology, epidemiology, pathology, diagnoses, and treatment of bladder carcinoma.
