The intention of the author was to describe common, noninvasive cardiac diagnostic techniques and their application to clinical problems in a concise and practical way. The book accomplishes this purpose.
The text covers all of the clinically relevant cardiology tools from physical examination to Holter monitoring, echocardiography, stress testing, and others. The text is up to date and, for the most part, clinically revelant. Each chapter includes a discussion of the limitations of the method, which is often lacking in other texts.
