There is a need for a comprehensive review of recent research results in tumor immunology. This compilation of 12 papers from various authors, although excellent in several respects, suffers occasionally from a lack of continuity, boring repetitiveness, and variations in narrative style. Had the best writer rewritten the entire text from the information in these chapters, it would likely have answered this need and would have been a superb work. It is, however, informative, sometimes exciting, and often projects research needs into the future.
