Keith John Roy Wightman, born 12 May 1914, a Past President of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, died in Toronto on Friday, 10 March 1978. He received his medical degree from the University of Toronto in 1937. After postgraduate study at Cambridge and in Toronto, he served in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps in Canada and North West Europe. He returned to Toronto and in 1953 was appointed Head of the Department of Therapeutics.
