After having been exposed to a barrage of material from various perspectives on the so-called "medical malpractice crisis," physicians might wonder what to expect from a report of the American Bar Association's investigation of the subject. Since in at least one dimension the "crisis" is a test of wills between the medical and legal professions, the viewpoint of the lawyers' main professional organization might be anything from a diatribe against doctors to an insipid mouthing of platitudes.
