As a gastrohepatologist, I was eager to review this liver text authored by a radiohepatologist. Certainly, with the recent proliferation of radiologic technology, the time seems appropriate for introducing a book with a format designed to have an appeal for a broad and multidisciplined market, including anatomists, radiologists, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, pediatricians, surgeons, radiation therapists, endoscopists, and chemotherapists.
The first chapter is well done and provides difficult-to-find anatomic radiologic correlations that emphasize the wide range of normal biologic variation. Illustrations are excellent and provide a clear data base for the radiologic case studies in subsequent sections. All figures and tables are
