The authors, a group of seven radiologists associated with various American medical centers, have attempted to bring together their experience with arthrography in a single text that "illuminates the details of the techniques, pertinent anatomical structures and their normal and abnormal arthrographic appearance." Their efforts have produced an excellent reference work.
The text is divided into 14 chapters dealing with specific joints. Five chapters are devoted to the knee and its internal structures, and the remaining are concerned with the shoulder, elbow, hip, talocalcaneonavicular joint, ankle, and wrist with a separate chapter on the hip in children.
