Students of cardiovascular diseases will welcome this excellent and up-to-date primer on clinical cardiology. The reader is started on cardiac anatomy and physiology, the pathophysiology of the common cardiovascular symptoms, and cardiovascular physical findings. Details of the effects of common bedside maneuvers, such as isometric handgrip, standing, and prompt squatting, are not discussed.
The sequence of subject presentation enables the student to better grasp the clinical entities discussed.
