The chapter on immunopathology of allergy (Gel and Coombs classification) in Section 2 is particularly instructive. However, the evaluation of the allergic patient should have included sensitization tests not only with pollen, dust, and molds but also with animal danders, milk, eggs, wheat, nuts, and fish.
