clinical aspects of nutrition. Volume 3A reviews nutrient requirements, caloric needs and calorimetry, energy sources (carbohydrates and fats), proteins and amino acids, essential fatty acids, cholesterol, and dietary fiber. Clinical considerations make up only a minor part of the text.
