To the editor: I have read with great interest a recent paper entitled "How Cardiologists Learn About Echocardiography" (1). In attempting to reconstruct Table 1, I have found what appears to be an error. In the column of the table labeled "How Physicians Have Continued Their Education in Echocardiography," there is no entry for the absolute frequency, rank, or relative frequency of "meetings and conferences." The text, however, states that 26% of physicians gave this as a response. I believe the absolute frequency of this source should be 64. This would rank "meetings and conferences" as second, and change the
