To the editor: We agree with the methods and results reported in the paper "Prospective Staging of Patients with Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphomas" (1). We have been working on this subject and have accepted the TNM (tumor, node, metastasis) classification of the American Joint Committee on Cancer Staging (2). Since January 1980, we have studied 13 patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (ESTRACH T, LECHA M, MASCARO JM. Department of Dermatology. MONTSERRAT E, ROZMAN C. Department of Haematology. Faculty of Medicine. Barcelona, Spain. Unpublished observations). All these patients have been studied with the same staging procedures (lymphangiogram, liver biopsy, bone marrow biopsy)
