Several errors appeared in the article by De Saxe and associates (1) in Part 2 of the June issue. The last sentences in the second paragraph of the Discussion section (page 995) should have read:
The isolates from 10 of 12 cases produced enterotoxin F. Four of these strains were also found to be positive for pyrogenic exotoxin C; however, only one protein band, at pI 7.3, was produced by their supernates on isoelectric focussing. This observation suggests that enterotoxin F and pyrogenic exotoxin C are the same product.
