Analysis of cardiac arrhythmias has improved in recent years due to refinements in electrophysiologic and ambulatory monitoring. Not all of the information has reached the level of clinical use, however, and arrhythmias continue to be a major source of perplexity for the practicing physician and nurse. An easily referenced and annotated collection of rhythm strips can solve some of these problems. In presenting such a format, Chung's text succeeds in describing common cardiac arrhythmias encountered in daily practice.
