To the editor: Dr. Ochoa's review of my book, Clinical Interpretation and Practice of Cancer Chemotherapy" (1), although admittedly "positive," is so ambivalent and emotional as to warrant response.
In the interests of historical accuracy, his statement that "a pejorative assault on dissension" is among my "goals" is so far from the truth as to obviously bring disbelief to those who have followed my publications since 1945. Encouragement of dissension and discussion has always been my goal.
