An encyclopedic text that covers all of pediatric cardiology is essential. This revision, which comes 6 years after the second edition, contains a wealth of recent information from 80 authors, each a leader in his or her subspecialty.
The new chapters on nuclear cardiology, exercise testing, and cardiomyopathies are current and well written. Eight of the repeating authors have conscientiously and comprehensively updated their subjects, but the other 37 chapters are essentially unchanged.
