A course given by the Department of Continuing Medical Education at Harvard Medical School in 1982 forms the basis of this program. In its second edition, the material has been edited, revised, updated, and produced in the form of two well-illustrated volumes with an accompanying set of 32 audiocassettes.
The course covers cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, haematology, immunology and infectious diseases, nephrology, neurology, rheumatology, oncology, and pulmonary diseases. Each section is divided into discussions of the most important or rapidly changing areas in each specialty.
