To incorporate in one book of fewer than 250 pages all aspects of the many peripheral nerve disorders that can occur in humans is difficult. The success of such an ambitious project, aside from the obvious need for accuracy, will relate to the success with which an author organizes an expanded outline of multiple disorders. This task is difficult, and these authors attempt to solve it with a series of headings and subheadings. One is struck with the brevity of paragraphs and the complexity of the outline system.
