The annotations to abstracted articles seem to be running to greater length, more detail, and more thorough discussion than they did a few years back, bringing the sections in this annual closer to the qualities of review articles than of a string of unconnected abstracts. Emphasis is on papers of clinical importance but with more attention to uncommon disorders and experimental approaches than in The Year Book of Family Practice.
