With the exception of three chapters, this is a comprehensive text on radiologic evaluation of the adult kidney. The 25 chapters are divided into four sections. The first section deals with anatomy and uroradiologic techniques. In addition to urography, the techniques include ultrasound, computed tomography, and angiography. There are also invited chapters on scintigraphy and interventional uroradiology.
The second and third sections deal with diseases of the renal parenchyma and the pelvocalyceal system, respectively. A major feature is the approach to diagnosing such diseases. The first approach is largely based on determining the size and outline of the kidney or
