To the editor: An article in the October 1985 issue by Dr. Burger and colleagues (1) described the wife of a patient with the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome who developed transient antibody to the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV, formerly HTLV-III/LAV). As it is now 2 years since her reversion to seronegativity (April 1984), an update of her clinical and serologic status would be of great interest to those clinicians working with HIV disease.
