This book is a handy place to look up the ramifications. George Annas has collected a large number of his essays on ethical and legal issues in modern medicine. The title is apt, because his focus is on court decisions. He is also critical of the reasoning of some judges, for example, a judge in Arkansas who ruled against having male nurses in the delivery room. There are 61 essays grouped under the headings:
