This major, comprehensive, and well-known text on contemporary clinical rheumatology shows no radical changes from the tenth edition. One might argue with the decision to cover some immunologic disorders that are hardly "allied" with arthritis in clinical presentation, but if one admits that metabolic bone disorders and some vasculitides are close enough to "arthritis" for the clinical rheumatologist, the scope of this valuable text is proper. A text likely to be heavily used in any clinical library. (EJH)
