This edition does not show great changes in general characteristics of the atlas from its preceding editions, but new drawings have been added and a large number of computed and MRI tomograms improve the presentation of relationships in sections. The explanatory text is carried in English as well as in German. Wolf-Heidegger continues as a leading atlas for both students first studying anatomy and physicians needing to refresh their memories on structural relationships important in clinical medicine.
