The venerable Year Book family is joined by this new sibling shaped in the same format as its sisters: bibliographic data on each represented article followed by a summary and section-editor's comment. The eight chapters cover the fields of organization and governance, health care finance, human resources, planning and marketing, technology, medical quality management, legal issues, and health care ethics. Each chapter opens with a short introduction on trends and has additional topical subdivisions. Seventy-five publications are represented in this first volume, including such serials as Harvard Business Review and Fortune.
