To the Editors: In a letter reporting the preliminary results of an anonymous survey of members of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Doblin and Kleiman (1) acknowledge the "possibility of response bias" and that their results "only roughly estimate the views of oncologists." In fact, 57% of those surveyed did not return their questionnaires, and the number of questionnaires returned unanswered is not stated.
