This multiauthor textbook continues to provide a wealth of information for persons interested in the molecular basis of thyroid hormone action and the pathophysiology of thyroid disease. This latest edition contains contributions from 114 authors and is clearly organized to facilitate an orderly flow of information. Although the title of the book alludes to the presentation of both basic-science and clinical information, most chapters deal with the physiology and clinical manifestations of thyroid dysfunction.
